Robert Segal

General Manager & Company's Founder

Robert holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion and an M.B.A. from the Reichman University

Robert Segal is our General Manager and one of the company’s founders. Robert handles the firm’s business development and ongoing management as well as pursuing innovative new products and services and forging strategic partnerships in Israel and overseas.
Robert is a member of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce International Committee, representing its members in Standard Committees at the Standards Institution of Israel.
Robert is a key lecturer on food regulatory affairs for academic institutions, industry and various business forums. Robert also provides organizations with strategic consulting services regarding food safety and regulatory affairs.
Robert has over three decades of experience in the fields of food quality and safety, including the management of the Food and Agriculture Dept. at BVQI Israel (IQC – Institute of Quality Control). Robert is among the founders of the field of Food Regulatory Management in Israel, and played an active consulting role, on behalf of the Manufacturers Association of Israel, in formulating the Public Health Protection Law (Food).

Head of Learning and Academic Services

Dr. David Rosenblatt holds a B.Sc. degree in biology from the Technion and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Hebrew University. He also holds a diploma in advertising, marketing and public relations from the College of Management.

Dr. David Rosenblatt is our company’s Head of Learning and Academic Services. He is involved in training trainers, learning development, consulting organizations on learning processes, delivery of a wide range of courses and workshops in various fields (quality management, training skills, occupational health and safety, environmental care, food safety and microbiology, leadership and more). 

Dr. Rosenblatt utilizes cutting edge training tools, including webinars and courseware. 

David is a prominent lecturer at the Hebrew University’s School of Veterinary Medicine and at various local and international conferences. He is a member of the International Association of Food Protection and the Association of Talent Development. Dr. Rosenblatt chairs the standard committee on food safety at the Standards Institution of Israel and serves in the IDF reserves as a Military Health Officer and food safety specialist. David is also a Ministry of Tourism certified tour guide.

Operations Manager

Sharon had over ten years of experience in the food industry before moving to “Sher Consulting and Training.” In her previous positions, she was responsible for laboratory management, quality management, and establishing product quality and safety management systems according to international standards. In addition, she has more than 15 years of experience consulting organizations in the food and food-related sectors.

Sharon has unique knowledge and experience accompanying organizations’ product quality and safety management systems. She consults on establishing product quality and safety management systems, including ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, BRC and FSMA, and ISO/IEC 17025, quality management of laboratories.

Sharon has extensive experience in crisis consulting for a variety of companies. She has been instrumental in leading and accompanying the development of various fields of activity for Sher Consulting and Training

Marketing & Sales Manager - Sustainability & EHS

Hila holds a B.Sc. degree in Biotechnological Engineering and a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from Ben-Gurion University

Hila holds a dual role in the company. At Sher Consulting and Training – Hila is the Marketing & Sales Manager of the EHS&S Division and at Mérieux NutriSciences, Hila is the Sustainability Business Partner Europe. 

Hila’s scope of responsibilities for Sher includes the identification of business opportunities for accelerated growth of EHS&S division, the elaboration of marketing and sales plans, the analysis of business data, local target markets and potential customers for new business.

In her European role, Hila focuses on “Environmental footprinting” business development as part of the sustainability roadmap. Hila partners with Mérieux NutriSciences’s local teams to start this business, help building go-to-market strategies and support customer-facing discussions or requests. 

Hila has over 10 years of experience as an environmental engineer and in her prior position at Sher Consulting and training, Hila served as the Sustainability and EHS Division Manager. 

Quality Division Manager

Shahar has a B.Sc. in biotechnology and food engineering from the Technion.

Shahar manages Sher Consulting and Training’s Quality Division. Our Quality division employs approximately 20 food technologists and engineers. 

Shahar has unique knowledge and experience in establishing and implementing quality and food safety management systems. These include ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC and FSMA. 

Shahar also has extensive experience in crisis consulting for a variety of companies, establishing and maintaining laboratory quality management systems according to ISO 17025, infrastructure and hygiene reviews, internal audits, and functional planning of factories.

As a food safety expert, Shahar has more than 10 years of experience in consulting with various types of organizations such as food manufacturers, food-tech start-ups, nutritional supplement manufacturers, importers, food services providers etc

 

Regulatory Affairs Division Manager

Keren has a degree in food and biotechnology engineering from the Technion

Keren manages our food regulatory affairs division and provides professional support to our project managers. She has extensive experience in local and international regulatory affairs, including vast experience with various companies for which she provides regulatory reviews, product labeling, food regulation compliance checks, expert opinions, food and novel food registration and more.

Keren has extensive experience in regulatory consulting and project management for leading food companies.

Sustainability and EHS Division Manager

Ella holds a BA in Environmental Studies and an MA in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. In the past, she worked in the IDF’s Environmental Protection Administration and in environmental management for the food industry

Ella Rabin manages our sustainability and EHS division, which employs project managers in the fields of sustainability, environment and employee safety. 

In addition, Ella supports project management in the field of management systems based on standards: ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. At the same time, she is engaged in the fields of consulting for industry; Compliance audits for legal compliance, air quality, wastewater, hazardous materials, waste and more. Due to her experience in the field of regulation, Ella supports clients in cases that require representation before various regulatory bodies. In addition, she manages and conducts professional courses, seminars and intra-organizational training. 

Sales and Customer Relations Manager

Reut has an engineering degree in chemistry, majoring in biotechnology, from the Sami Shamoon College of Engineering

Reut is our Sales and Customer Relations Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the industry (ten in our company), Reut has a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of our clients. She is passionate about building strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers and works tirelessly to exceed their expectations

Human Resources Manager

Michal holds a B.A. degree in behavioral sciences and a Master’s degree in law from Bar Ilan University. She holds an NLP practitioner diploma and is a member of the International Association of NLP Institutes. Michal also has a diploma in career consulting

Michal manages the whole employee lifecycle and is responsible for building and implementing HR strategy, practices, policies and procedures. She believes it is important to create conditions and a culture for our employees that will strengthen their sense of joy, confidence and pride with regards to the company, its customers, and above all, their own personal value. Michal has more than 14 years of experience in different HR practices: employee experience, talent acquisition, employer branding, employee wellbeing, OD & Training and extensive knowledge of local labor laws.
